Linda Olszewski (Shorts International, London)
As Co-Head of Global Acquisitions & Podcasts for Shorts International, Linda heads up initiatives such as acquiring films for iTUNES USA & UK, BT-Vision, Joost, and Shorts TV. In her Intimeet Linda will discuss what kinds of films she’s looking for and how iTunes and Shorts TV compare with other media platforms in revenue and visibility. At international festivals she scouts for cinematic gems in all genres, produces podcasts for SHORTS TV and serves on juries and panels.
Shane Smith (Movieola- The Short Film Channel; Programmer, Sundance Film Festival)
Hear first-hand what broadcasters and Festival Programmers look for in a short, and what you can do to enhance your film’s presence at a fest. Shane Smith is the Director of Programming for the digital TV channels Movieola- The Short Film Channel and Silver Screen Classics. He was Director of the Worldwide Short Film Festival for six years and currently programs short films for the Sundance Film Festival.

Erin Burke (CFC Feature Film Project, Canada)
Learn how to use your short film smarts to jump into features. As manager of the CFC Feature Film Project (FFP), Erin Burke is responsible for day-to-day operations of the program in consultation with the FFP’s Director. Currently in her fifth year with the FFP, Erin’s involvement includes managing and administering Development and Production activities and working closely with filmmakers going through the program. She is also responsible for administering all financing agreements and coordinating all reporting obligations of the FFP in addition to overseeing all inquiries and submissions.

His Company has specialized in marketing and promoting short films internationally for over 13 year and has a catalogue of over 550 short content titles.
Justin Rebelo (Super Channel, Canada)
Now here’s a buyer who has been around the block and can tell tales of many prominent organizations. Justin Rebelo has worked as a programmer for The Movie Network, Much Music and currently is Director of Canadian Programming for the newly launched Super Channel. He’s also enjoyed stints in theatrical marketing for DreamWorks, as a writer/director/producer at TMN, MPix and for multiple independent projects.

Judy Gladstone has been the executive director of CHUM Television’s Bravo!FACT (Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent) since 1997. Over 1,000 short films have been produced across Canada with grants awarded by the foundation. Prior to her arrival at CHUM, Ms. Gladstone was coordinator of the CIDA-funded Canada Fund for Dialogue and Development in the Middle East.
